New housing budget passed by Parliament - what changes should we expect?
22 September 2023 Parliament, with the unanimity of the Party of Socialists (PS), again adopted without amendments the program "More Housing" after the veto of the President of the Republic. The document provides for changes in rents, guest accommodation, unused properties and taxes.
President Marcelo Rebelo de Souza expressed a negative opinion on the More Housing program and criticized the lack of party agreement, but Minister Marina Gonçalves confirmed that the program was balanced and the Party of Socialists said that' 'Lease Agreements
