5 November 2565, Mr. Manrat Ratanasuk, Director of the Department of Administration, signed an urgent letter from the Department of Administration, MT 0307.4 / ว 27182, to the Governor of Tujiang Province regarding the Listening of Opinions on the Draft Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, Pyrotechnic Products and Weapons Act (Edition ....) of .....

The said document states that the Department of Management has published a notice for listening to views on the Draft Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, Pyrotechnic Articles and Armaments Act (.... edition) of the year ...... in October 2565 to listen to views on the draft Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, Pyrotechnics and Weapons Act (.... edition) of the year .....

with the main content that persons in possession of firearms and ammunition prohibited by law must present the relevant weapons and ammunition to obtain a permit to comply with the law within the prescribed timeframe without being penalized for possessing and selling weapons prohibited by law because they pose a threat to society. Persons in possession of the said weapons shall hand them over to the armed forces within the prescribed time limit without penalty. However, the state does not limit the recovery of value and makes it the property of the state and the registrar who has the authority to draw up the details of the weapon such as registration mark, transfer, notice of movement shall verify the correct registration of the weapon, verify the existence of weapons used in the commission of a crime or for other state purposes.
