Obradoviћ: About a thousand apartments for young people in "Belgrade on the Water"

The candidate for Belgrade mayor from the coalition Serbia Against Violence, Vladimir Obradovic, said that every euro of the 100 million that Belgrade on Water owes to the city will be converted into ownership of housing that will be provided to young people under privileged conditions.

"Enough of the policy of attracting investors, it is necessary to invest in our citizens and young people. The current government has failed to notice and react to the huge housing crisis in Belgrade and the exodus of young people from the city. Today, every second person under 25 wants to leave our country because there are no conditions for a good life," Obradovic said in the program "One on One" on RTS.

According to a press release from the Party of Freedom and''justice, he explained that in today's world it is not normal that young people cannot afford housing and start an independent life because they and their parents do not have the money to do so. In every European country, providing affordable housing for citizens is a common practice, and Belgrade will do it after December 17.

"No one should create closed neighborhoods in Belgrade anymore, reserved only for some.
