The heir to the media mogul family, Lachlan Murdoch, has paid $150 million for an estate in the Bel-Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to media reports, making it the most expensive residence ever purchased in that city.

This place was once owned by billionaire media mogul Jerry Perenchio, once chairman and CEO of Univision, which came to an end in 2017.

The 25,000-square-foot mega residence has 11 bedrooms and 18bathrooms, a 12,000-bottle wine cellar, a 75-foot-long swimming pool, several acres of private gardens and secret underground tunnels.

CNBC was granted exclusive access inside the residence.
