Released on streaming platforms before Christmas, The Glass Onion is the sequel to Knives in the Back, which was released in 2019. Written and directed by Rian Johnson, director of The Last Jedi, the movie follows detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) who becomes involved in a detective story of a murder on the private island of billionaire tech entrepreneur Miles Bron (Edward Norton).
The island environment includes a giant crystalline structure ("glass bow" from the name) built in the center of the luxury villa.
The real estate website Zillow lists the island description as "Glass Onion Greek Isle Commune: Multi-Layered Living in Paradise." The selling agent is listed as Derol Zablinski, a minor character from the movie, played by Noah Segan, who stays on the island with the main characters. The description reads, "Stunning panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the Peloponnese await you at this private island retreat designed and organized by Alpha Industries founder Miles Bron.

However, not everyone agrees with this opinion, as shown in Ben Shapiro's much-discussed social media rant about the movie.
