At the beginning of last year, the average price per square meter of an apartment rose to 1,346 euros, then reached 1,425 euros in the second quarter. The reasons for this increase were higher prices for construction materials caused by market disruptions due to the conflict in Ukraine, supply disruptions and higher energy prices, as reported by construction companies. Prices for construction materials started to decline at the end of last year, but apartment prices did not fully correspond to this decline due to the growing interest of buyers, primarily Ukrainians, Russians and Turks. In Podgorica, the average price per square meter in new buildings and commercial sales was 1,409 euros in the first quarter of this year.
