The chamber proposed to discuss the bill on amnesty.

The Pheu Thai Party supports negotiations to develop a law that all parties will agree on.
Pheu Thai Party position
Pheu Thai party MP Chusak Sirinil stated that amnesty is a "sensitive issue" that requires careful consideration. A representative of the ruling Pheu Thai party expressed the opinion that it would be best to start discussions within a formal committee of the chamber, which would include representatives from both government and opposition parties. The Pheu Thai party has not made a decision regarding the amnesty law and does not intend to propose its version of the bill as a template for a joint project. The party is ready to present its version of the amnesty law for discussion in the House earlier, alongside the version proposed by the main opposition party, Move Forward Party (MFP), which has raised questions about the true motives behind the adoption of such a law. The party responds to criticism by stating that it has always been the party's policy to seek amnesty as a way to overcome political conflicts that have long affected society.
Caution in passing the amnesty law
“We do not want the new amnesty law to become a cause of a new wave of social division during its discussion in the Chamber,” Mr. Chusak said. “Such division is likely to lead to a new major political conflict, so we need to be especially careful.”
