Paris Baguette Kisses Launch in the Middle East with Galadari Group of Companies in UAE

According to information, SPC Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with Galadari Brothers Group to establish a Paris Baguette joint venture in the Middle East. Under the terms of the agreement, parent company SPC Group will form a UAE-based joint venture with Galadari to launch Paris Baguette in 12 countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, by 2033.

Galadari Food & Beverage Division, a subsidiary of Galadari Brothers Group with a base in Dubai, has been a Baskin-Robbins licensee for more than 40 years and operates nearly 900 Baskin-Robbins stores in the Middle East, as well as Dunkin' Donuts in Qatar. Galadari Icecream Co. LCC (GICC) is also a joint venture with Dunkin' Brands International and operates about 80 Baskin-Robbins stores in Australia.

In June 2022, Paris Baguette announced plans to invest 130 million ringgit ($29.6 million) to develop a certified halal bakery, manufacturing and distribution center in the Malaysian state of Johor.

Founded in 1988, Paris Baguette is a subsidiary of South Korean food conglomerate SPC Group. There are more than 4,000 Paris Baguette stores worldwide, about 3,800 of which are franchisees. Paris Baguette already has an extensive international presence including South Korea, USA, Canada, France, UK, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia. The bakery-cafe chain plans to open 1,000 stores in the US by 2030 and is aiming for 200 franchisees in the UK by 2036 as part of wider plans for 450 sites in Europe.
