PNK Group's new project will bring unused land back into the economy.

Valley View, PA - (Newsfile Corp. - March 20, 2024) - PNK Group USA intends to develop a major industrial park in northeastern Pennsylvania.

To accomplish this goal, the Company acquired 88.73 acres of land near the City of Scranton, 127 miles from New York City.

The prime location along I-81 provides direct access to more than 99 million residents living within a 500-mile radius. This audience can appeal to virtually every industry.

PNK Group USA has announced that PNK Park Valley View will be built in Pennsylvania.

The transaction is with Scranton Lackawanna Industrial Building Company (SLIBCO), a subsidiary of Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce. PNK Group has acquired three contiguous parcels of land that will now be used for industrial buildings totaling 765,000 square feet. The area is part of the Valley View Mixed-Use Business Park (home to TMG Health, McLane Company, Chewy, Amazon, Pasqualichio Brothers Inc. and Cardinal LG.), which is being developed by SLIBCO.

PNK Group USA is currently preparing the area, including work on reclamation of 19th and 20th century mines located on these sites. The issue of abandoned mines and adjacent man-made barren land has long been an important concern for local authorities. The reclamation, which PNK Group USA intends to complete in the coming months, should restore these lands to the national economy.

"We are pleased to bring our expertise in financing, development, engineering and construction to this strategically important location.

This investment underscores our confidence in the region's economic prospects and our commitment to foster growth and technology. PNK Group is contributing to the continued success of the local economy through industrial development," said PNK Group USA spokesperson Mark B. Stiles.

According to Mr. Stiles, northeastern Pennsylvania has excellent potential for workforce availability and is close to major markets, which is why the region was selected as a strategic investment location for PNK Group USA. In addition, Valley View Business Park offers multiple sites with a Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone (KOEZ) designation. Depending on the site definition, KOEZ-eligible tenants may be exempt from paying Pennsylvania state and local government business taxes through 2020, 2024 and 2026.

Valley View Business Park's infrastructure can support a variety of activities, from office work to industrial manufacturing. Utilities are located here so that they can be laid directly from the road to the site, reducing construction costs.

Neighbors of the future PNK Park Valley View will include warehouses and offices for Amazon, MTF Biologics, McLane Pennsylvania, Northeast Laminated Glass Corporation and several other major companies.

PNK Group USA, as a pioneer in engineering and manufacturing, leads technological advancement in industrial construction. The company's construction methodology, which utilizes large building blocks, simplifies the assembly process of buildings by producing precise elements, minimizing the need for labor-intensive work and heavy machinery.

In the early months of 2024, the company announced plans to increase the capacity of its new plants for the production of reinforced concrete and structural steel in Pennsylvania and Georgia.
