The upcoming live album by Saosin, "Live From The Garden Amphitheater," recorded during the band's 20th anniversary in 2023 with both of their vocalists - Anthony Green and Cove Reber - features a number of great covers in addition to all their own hits. We are now presenting two of these covers: Anthony Green performs the song "Seven" by emo music pioneers Sunny Day Real Estate from 1994, while Cove Reber covers "Pitiful" by the Swedish post-hardcore band Blindside from 2002. Both versions are executed perfectly and fit seamlessly into the band's style. Cove, with his powerful voice, is a great match for "Pitiful," and it's easy to see how Jeremy Enigk's high notes from Sunny Day Real Estate helped lay the foundation for a unique vocalist like Anthony Green. It's truly spectacular to hear Anthony masterfully take on this song. Check out both songs and their professional performance videos below.
