Prince Harry wants to buy a private piece of real estate in the UK?

>T There is some "disagreement" among Sussex Unit supporters over leaks from Buckingham Palace in September about Prince Harry's request to spend one night at Windsor Castle. Harry made a lightning visit to the UK just before the Invictus games in Düsseldorf.

On Thursday, September 7, Harry attended the WellChild Awards and then spent the night somewhere. The next morning he honored his grandmother at St. George's Crypt on Windsor Manor on the anniversary of her death. According to subsequent palace briefings weeks later, Harry requested a room at Windsor Castle for the night of the seventh, but his father's office informed him that there were no rooms or staff available.

There was also some sort of invitation made to Harry to fly to Balmoral, but it made no sense in his travel plans. At the end of the week, when the palace was actively briefing the situation, it became clear that perhaps King Charles had been hasty, petty, and utterly stupid in expelling Harry from Frogmore Cottage, and that perhaps Harry should be "awarded" some royal accommodation somewhere in the city, if he was in it. This is what Frogmore Cottage literally should have been - a place where Harry could feel safe, where he would have a base, and the royal grandchildren would be welcomed to the UK.

Personally, I believe Harry probably did request a room for one night, just as I believe he was turned down. Had Harry expected to be given a palace room? Or was this some kind of test to see if Charles was the real father? I don't know. I also believe that Harry (not Meghan) would still like to have some sort of base in the UK. But I don't believe Harry is considering buying an apartment near London.

Meghan Markle has not visited the UK since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022. It's a solution I've seen offered by some Sussex fans, which is to "ask nothing of your sucky family and just buy or rent your own place in London or somewhere else". I realize that, I really do, and Harry has the money to do it, but I don't think he'll do it. Harry is so focused on security, and I just think if he ever buys a place, it's going to be a huge security issue. The media would constantly infiltrate that apartment or house, the cost of securing the house would be enormous, and it wouldn't be worth it considering Harry only plans to be in town for a few days due to his many court cases.
