Prince William wants to make connections with the entertainment industry.

British media has spent six years trying to find fault with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's connections, influence and charisma. The media disparages Meghan and Harry for "using their royal titles," which ultimately gives the game away - Meghan and Harry are global superstars, regardless of titles.

It's only because of their titles that William and Kate have something, thanks to random birth order, not because of their charisma or talent. We recently saw that Meghan and Harry were invited to a lavish charity dinner in Santa Barbara at Kevin Costner's estate and spent time with Oprah, Ellen DeGeneres and other important people. But, according to the Mail's Richard Eden, the Sussexes are 'desperate'. 'are trying to establish themselves as Hollywood's "super couple," while William and Kate have appointed some TV producer to a charitable organization. There is some real anger here.

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are desperately trying to establish themselves as Hollywood's 'super couple', the Prince and Princess of Wales are quietly strengthening their ties with showbiz. I can reveal that Prince William and Catherine have appointed the producer of popular BBC TV drama 'Call the Midwife' as director of their Royal Greatness Foundation. Dem Pippa Harris will also become a director of the trustee company of the Diana, Princess of Wales memorial fund. "This is an important appointment," a royal court source tells me. "Dem Pippa is familiar with everyone and is savvy in getting things done.'''Dem Pippa, 56, founded hugely successful film studio Neal Street Productions with Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, 58. Together they created the TV series 'Call the Midwife' and were also involved in the production of the lauded film 'Revolutionary Road' starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as the latest epic World War One film '1917', for which they won two British Academy of Film and Television Awards (Bafta) and a Golden Globe Award. Dem Pippa is also chairman of Bafta, whose patron is Prince William.

The Royal Grandeur originally included Prince Harry, and there were fears it would suffer after he left in 2020 with Meghan. In fact, the opposite turned out to be true.

The following year brought the organization a sharp rise to''An impressive £11.78 million. This is almost double the £6.68 million raised in 2019, when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were still involved with the foundation. Last year's income was £10.1 million, according to the latest published accounts. The foundation develops programs and initiatives based on the prince and princess' interests, especially in the areas of early childhood, mental health and the environment.

Lord (William) Hague, the former Conservative leader, retired from politics last year to concentrate on his job as chairman of the foundation. He developed a warm relationship with Prince William and Catherine during his time as Foreign Secretary, working with them to tackle the illegal wildlife trade. Hague took''s position as chairman of the foundation, replacing Prince George's godfather Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who was William's right-hand man for 15 years.

While Eden is obsessed with the Sussex/Wales comparison, I'm more interested in all the bizarre drama with high positions in Royal grandeur. In March 2022, William hired Amanda Berry as chief executive of the Foundation. Berry was previously the CEO of BAFTA, but she was quietly fired in January 2022 due to some strange circumstances involving her being too close to William and Kate. It seemed that BAFTA told her to leave because they finally got tired of her sycophancy to their lazy president (Peg). But why does William hire a TV producer from BAFTA and the British''the movie/TV industry? Probably because he's desperate to demonstrate his ties to the entertainment industry. And why are William and Kate failing to retain high-profile employees, even at their foundation? "
