The suspension of Telegram's operations in Spain due to an investigation into intellectual property violations.

According to the decision of the judge of the National Audience of Spain, Santiago Pedraz, telecommunications and internet access operators were ordered to suspend access to the social network Telegram in Spain for three hours. At least until 11:00 PM (local time) on Saturday, the service continued to operate in Madrid, confirmed the CNN team.
The authorities stated that this is a "preliminary measure within the framework of the case regarding the systematic violation of intellectual property rights against the owners of various channels created on the social network Telegram." CNN requested the names of the applicants and details about the content from the National Audience, but has not yet received a response.
In addition, CNN is seeking a response from the authorities at Telegram. The company Telegram Group Inc. is registered as a company in the British Virgin Islands.
