The cut-through wage in Montenegro is 797 euros.

The average salary excluding taxes and deductions in Montenegro amounted to 797 euros in July, up 0.3 percent from June, RTCG reported today, citing data from Monstat.

The average net wage rose by 11.6 percent in July compared to the same month last year.

The average gross wage in June was €993.

"Given that consumer prices rose by 1 percent in July compared to June, it should be noted that real wages fell by 0.7 percent over the same period," the statement said.

Average earnings excluding taxes and deductions rose in July across various sectors of the economy:

  • Serving arts, entertainment and recreational services by 2.3''percent;
  • industrial production by 1.8 percent;
  • construction by 1.6 percent;
  • professional, scientific and technical services by 1.3 percent;
  • transportation and warehousing and financial and insurance services by 0.9 percent;
  • administrative and support services by 0.8 percent;

Growth was also seen in hospitality and food services by 0.7 percent; water supply, wastewater management, process control, waste management and similar activities, and wholesale and retail trade, motor vehicle repair by 0.6 percent; agriculture, forestry and fishing, and health and social protection by 0.3 percent.

Decrease in net payrolls in July noted in''spheres of information and communication by 3.1 percent; real estate transactions by 0.6 percent; mining of ore and stone by 0.2 percent; supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, as well as public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance by 0.1 percent.
