Sunset sale: your treasured real estate, impossible to pass up.

Sunset sale: your treasured real estate, impossible to pass up.

Продажа Солнечного заката: ваша сокровенная недвижимость, невозможно отказаться.

If you still haven't watched "Selling Sunset," the moment will soon come when you'll finally watch at least one episode or one scene and fall under its sway forever.

The seventh season of this realty show is out on Netflix, and it's another chance to appreciate what has long been a major treat for millions of viewers around the world. The format is simple enough - it's a documentary series of sorts that follows a real estate agency in Los Angeles called the Oppenheim Group that buys, sells and renovates properties.

There's nothing new yet, but things change because of the scale: millionaire clients, incredibly luxurious homes, extravagant personal and familiarity, and women in outfits,''s important role, the relationships between agents, the friendships that are sometimes disrupted by proposals that force everyone to confront each other (in the first season in 2019, the story began with the arrival of a new employee, Chrishelle, and some disapproval from the other agents who watched her warily).

Obviously, being a realty show and also one of the most entertaining, it's not without its personal dramas. And, as usual, they are very vivid: especially the life of Krischelle, the main character, is of interest. She was the subject of a heartbreaking divorce (her husband Justin Hartley from This Is Us broke up with her via text message) and had to start a new life. After the third season of the reality show, she became a true "America's Belle" and everyone was worried about her, including''thanks to her participation in Dancing with the Stars, the American version of the show "Ballando con le Stelle", and her personal life, which first led to her engagement to Jason Oppenheim (he and his brother Brett are the owners of the Oppenheim Group agency) and then to her happy relationship with a non-binary man: G Flip, an Australian music star.

This show suits all tastes: while some watch "Selling Sunset" for the eccentric and awesome happenings with Kristin, others like the more humble, so to speak, protagonist as Amanza Smith - a single mom who tries to combine work with a personal life that still needs to be kept private.

In this situation, many viewers find themselves on the other side of the screen. Or the lovely Emma Hernan,'''em on TV, not to live there - these unrealistic, outstanding houses that seem built purely for show. But there's also quarrels, jealousy, laughter, satisfaction, the adrenaline of a sale that may fail at the last moment: the gigantic size of these houses sometimes diminishes the non-essential (and essential) qualities of the human soul.

The basics are already pretty good, because realty shows are a veritable gold miner, as we get hypnotized by admiring - or, more often than not, criticizing - other people's homes. "Selling Sunset" adds to this alchemical mix of lucid daydreaming, but also some disturbing moments that dazzle us but from which we can't take our eyes off.
