Alex Guarnaschelli and Gabe Bertaccini host a new cooking competition where the chefs live together in Tuscany.

On Food Network's new show Ciao House, hosts Alex Guarnaschelli and Gabe Bertaccini welcome 10 chefs to live in Tuscany and compete in a battle of Italian cuisine.

An exclusive excerpt of the new season, which kicks off Sunday, April 16, shows the 14th-century Tuscan villa located in Borgo San Lorenzo where everything takes place.

Competing chefs pull up to their new home and are immediately impressed. "It's like in my dreams," says one chef. Another simply adds: "Amazing."

The group enters and admires the front door of a yellow villa with high domed ceilings and original murals. Instead of evaluating the competitors, the participants look at the villa.

A 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom villa with Renaissance details and space for participants and crew. The interior is impressive, but participants step out into the spacious courtyard (with a huge pool!) and are also amazed by the grounds. "It's more than a house," says Chef Corey from Brooklyn. "It's an estate. It's a complex. It's unbelievable."

The chefs are also a delight in the kitchen. The space features a fireplace where the chefs cook in authentic Tuscan style, shelves filled with endless varieties of pasta shapes, and an extensive selection of fresh produce.

"The cuisine is amazing. You feel like you're in someone's grandmother's kitchen," says sous chef Omar from New Jersey and laughs. "But not my grandmother's."

Additional images show that the luxurious details of the estate continue throughout. Luxurious marble baths, chandeliers and fluffy sofas adorn the bathrooms.

Fans can see Bertaccini's villa selection process on House Hunters International on HGTV. In the April 9 episode, real estate expert Marta De Vito helps the host select three villas, each of which is meant to create the "family-friendly" feeling that Bertaccini wants to create for the contestants. Bertaccini wanted a villa costing between $50,000 and $100,000 a week that would be functional for filming the TV show with a professional kitchen and communal dining room. He also wanted the villa to look grand and showcase historic Italian design. Mission accomplished.

The Ciao House show begins April 16 at 9 p.m. ET on the Food Network.
