A global concept is born: expansion to Madrid

Two Miami-based boutique law firms, Concepción Disputes and Global Tax Law, are merging and expanding into Madrid, Spain.

Concepción Global, led by Carlos F. Concepción and Christine A. Concepcion, will be the first Florida-based boutique law firm to operate under the international distributed law firm model with an office in Spain. The new entity, Concepcion Global, will serve international companies and high net worth clients with business interests in the Americas and Europe.

Under the leadership of Carlos F. Concepcion and Christine A. Concepcion, the firm's new Madrid office will open its doors on October 26 on Almagro Street.

The Miami office will remain at 201 S. Biscayne Blvd.

According to Christine A. Concepcion, co-founder and international tax attorney, "the move is a natural step for the firm given the growing number of high net worth individuals relocating to Europe." "We are following our Latin American clients as well as Americans moving to Europe. This migration trend started during the pandemic, but they are actually staying there for business, social and cultural reasons. In fact, many of our clients are already calling Madrid 'Miami 2.0'."
