Real estate market: 2.9 growth in Europe by 2024, Italy -3.6 with a turnover of €144 billion in 2023

The Rapallo Forum noted the decline of the European real estate market in 2023 compared to 2022, while Italy stands out with a growth of 3.6%, almost reaching 150 billion euros of turnover.

The Rapallo Forum presented the "European Outlook 2024" from Scenari Immobiliari, which points to a 2.9% growth in the real estate market in Europe in 2024.
In particular, Italy has shown the best result in 2023 with a jump in turnover of 3.6%.
Despite an exceptional period of recovery from the pandemic, the European real estate market is facing some challenges, where the five main European countries (Italy, France, Germany, Spain, England) mark''Real estate continues to grow and investors are channeling their capital into real estate. This was revealed in the 42nd 2023 report on 'Real Estate Funds in Italy and Abroad', prepared by Scenari Immobiliari together with Studio Casadei.

The housing market is expected to decline slightly, but with a slight increase in prices, while the hotel industry is showing signs of recovery and retail''remains stable.
