The Serbian tennis star, who dated Princess Diana, is putting his Miami home on the market for $16.9 million.

Former Serbian tennis player, Slobodan Zivojinovic, who claimed to have dated Princess Diana while she was married to Prince Charles, has put his Miami home on the market for $16.9 million dollars.

The Serbian tennis star and his wife, musician Lepa Brena, have put an oceanfront villa in Miami on the market for $16.9 million.

The former tennis player previously claimed he had a relationship with Princess Diana in the late 1980s when she was married to Prince Charles. Zivojinovic, 59, said his relationship with Diana began when she watched him play at Wimbledon, after which they became "very close". In a 2016 interview with Serbian newspaper Kure, he explained that Diana watched his tennis from the stands to be closer to him. "She was a wonderful woman. With her I could talk about everything and even ordinary things became exciting," Zivojinovic said in the interview.

He is the only tennis player from Serbia to reach No. 1 in the world doubles rankings. Zivojinovic and his wife, pop-folk singer Brena, bought this villa in 2012.

They then built a new house, which was completed this year.

A week before Wimbledon in 1987, a charity match was held in England where Princess Diana watched a tennis player.

At over 6,000 square feet, the home features six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms with modern details and Italian finishes. The home features a spacious living room, a chef's kitchen and an elevator leading to the roof. "The sellers wanted to build a home with an open floor plan that emphasizes water and light, creating an unforgettable luxury lifestyle. Every detail was thought out with intention, from the contemporary design that reveals stunning bay views to the carefully selected materials," said Mirce Zurkoski of The Waterfront Team at ONE Sotheby's International Realty.

The home features a pool, hot tub, summer kitchen surrounded by manicured lawns and 75 feet of water frontage. Albert Justo and Mirce Zurkoski of The Waterfront Team at ONE Sotheby's International Realty are in charge of the sale.

According to Realtor.com, by March 2023, home prices in the Biscayne Point neighborhood are up 26.8% from last year. The average home sale price in the neighborhood is $3.7 million, and oceanfront home prices are significantly higher.

As a singles player, Zivojinovic reached the semifinals of the 1985 Australian Open and 1986 Wimbledon Championships, reaching his peak ranking of No. 19 in the world rankings in October 1987.
