A seven-year gap: 19 countries and important events
The organization "Joint Civil Initiative-Georgia" is conducting research on the business and political activities of candidates from the "Georgian Elections." According to the organization's main requirements, more than 30 candidates from 19 are involved in business activities. These 19 candidates are associated with 186 companies.
According to the report by the "Joint Civil Initiative-Georgia," 14 out of 30 candidates in the majoritarian voting were linked to the "Georgian elections" from 2012 to 2020. In total, they received funding amounting to 740,826 Georgian lari. These candidates are: Beka Odisharia, Georgy Volsky, Levan Kobiashvili, Gogo Meshveliani, Zaal Dugladze, Samvel Manukyan, Gocha Enukidze, Paata Kvidzinadze, Bejan Tsakadze, Givi Chichinaze, Zaza Lominadze, Irakli Khakhubia, Irakli Chikovani, and Anzor Bolkvadze.
According to the report by the "Joint Civil Initiative-Georgia," key political representatives are connected to the business activities and business partners of the majoritarian candidates.

The report states that out of 8 candidates associated with the business activities of the majority faction, they are currently linked to companies involved in public procurement. From 2012 to 2020, these companies received a total of 4,364,109 Georgian Lari (623,450 Georgian Lari from tenders and simplified procurements - 3,740,659 Georgian Lari).
According to a study by the "Joint Civil Initiative of Georgia," out of 30 candidates in the majoritarian voting, 6 are not connected to business activities and do not have political support. These are: Sozar Subari, Nodar Turdzheladze, David Seregenko, Shalva Kereselidze, Zaur Dargali, and Nino Latsabidze.
According to the same study, 6 candidates from the "Georgian elections" in 2012 received funding from the "United National Movement" party amounting to 758,300 Georgian lari for the acquisition of corporate assets and 2,210,000 Georgian lari for the purchase of shares in corporate enterprises.
It is expected that a similar study will be conducted in the future regarding candidates from other parties in the majoritarian legislature.
