Celebrate Women's History Month with the Mineta Transportation Institute at their virtual panel with women leaders in academia, the public sector, private business, and the nonprofit field, held every Tuesday in March. This week's webinar will feature guest Jeannette Walker-Ford, senior vice president and national transportation and rail business leader at Williams Sale Partnership (WSP) USA. Join the Urban Institute in collaborative efforts to improve housing production and accessibility in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region by exploring the Housing Indicator Tool (HIT). This seminar will discuss the impact of the new 2024 version of HIT on tracking policies across various jurisdictions and how these policies aim to protect residents from discrimination and displacement through the creation of new housing and the preservation of existing housing.

Saturday, March 23: Join us for an adventure on the Metrobus public transport.
Transit Enthusiasts of DC organizes various events dedicated to public transportation, including presentations, debates, and public transport tours. This Tuesday, they are organizing a Metrobus trip covering all seven routes numbered from 30 to 90. These routes have been in existence for about 90 years and are reminiscent of the old streetcar lines. After the expedition, the group will gather at the food court in Union Station for lunch and to share their impressions. Learn more and confirm your participation here.
