Scottish dad buys £3k six-bedroom house in Bulgaria on eBay as he tires of housing crisis

Rob Davies, 35, from the West Coast of Scotland, spent £3,000 on a six-bedroom house in Bulgaria in frustration at the UK property market crisis.
He purchased a neglected homestead after seeing it on eBay. He explained how he was driven to the decision by his inability to buy a home in his own neighborhood. Rob's story is told in the latest season of Channel 4's show 'Help! I Bought a Village", which airs on Monday at 17:00.
He also revealed that his decision to buy a property in Golyamo Krushevo, which is 20 miles north of the Turkish border, was "completely random", the Mirror reports.
Rob's new home, which stands alone on half an acre of land, was built over 100 years ago, but has been vacant and abandoned since the 1980s.
