Modern Mediterranean-style mansion overlooking the Balearic Sea in Mallorca, Spain, is for sale for 24.5 million euros ($25.92 million).

Situated on nearly 25 acres above the island's prestigious Port Andratx, "the magnificent estate is one of the last of its kind on the island," says Alby Eusden of The Agency Mallorca. He shares the list with Trevor Panton, also of The Agency.

"The large plot of pastoral land on which the estate sits is in the middle of a largely residential area, which is almost impossible on the island," Mr. Eusden said in an email.

"The estate also has a 25-meter swimming pool, which is extremely rare for any property on the island and virtually impossible on pastoral land." Indeed, the estate cannot be replicated because of existing building regulations, the agent added.

The project took about 10 years, with two architects contributing to the design. According to the listing, the home is about 14,000 square feet and offers panoramic views of the harbor, sea and mountains. It also has radiant floor heat and a combined heating and air conditioning system.

The main level has an open kitchen with an island and custom cabinetry, as well as two living rooms and a formal dining room with water views.

According to the listing, the estate has a Mediterranean garden surrounding it and there is also a garage for nine cars. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest house is also being built on the property, as well as a second guest house that can be used for staff or additional guests.

Information on how much the property last sold for or when it did so is not available from Mansion Global. Vendors were unavailable for comment.
