T Some countries around the world do not open their real estate market to Serbs. Our citizens can buy houses and apartments only in certain countries.

The citizens of Serbia have the opportunity to buyreal estate in those countries with which our republic has a mutual agreement on the purchase of real estate. This means that Serbs can buy real estate in this country and citizens of this country can buy real estate in Serbia. Reciprocal agreement was reached on the basis of trade and shipping treaties concluded in the first half of the 20th century.

Blic recommends In some countries, reciprocal agreement is explicitly specified, while in others it exists on the basis of a most-favored-nation clause.
