Apartment Prices: Sharp Decline in Belgrade, High Demand for This Area.

According to official data, there is still a tendency of “price stabilization” on the real estate market, although in some places there are significant decreases. Thus, in September, prices per square meter in most districts remained unchanged, and in some even fell. In Belgrade and Novi Sad, prices fell by almost 3 percent, while in Niš prices per square meter remained at zero. Despite the decrease in prices on the real estate market in some areas of Serbia, prices per square meter are still significantly higher compared to the prices of previous years. The capital still leads among other Serbian cities, and even after the price decrease - there are no squares below 3,000 euros in the central areas.

The price per square meter in our capital city dropped by 2.96 percent last month and this happened in Palilula area. At one point, this neighborhood had the highest price increase compared to others. The current average price per square meter in Palilula is around €2,394.
