As part of the tenth anniversary of Rent, a Proptech (real estate and technology related) event, SeLoger decided to focus on something that marked itself for 2023: artificial intelligence.

After ChatGPT and other similar innovations that have been in the spotlight in recent months, how does artificial intelligence meet the real estate industry? Caroline Evans de Gant, CEO of AVIV France, shared some impressive figures during her presentation to an interested audience.

Nine out of ten agents have already heard of it, with 45% being very familiar with the concept. So agents are well informed. In any case, two-thirds of them think it will affect their work. More interestingly, three quarters of them''believe AI represents an opportunity. And already 27% of real estate professionals are using it.

Among them, 61% use AI tools to write listings. A solution that is slowly becoming part of agents' everyday lives.

The machine, however, still requires more thought. 47% admit they haven't thought about relying on AI for professional use. While 32% say they see no real use for it.

So, to use or not to use AI? Either way, Caroline Evans de Gant believes the potential of this technology is underestimated and it will make all professionals more efficient.
