The Central Hong Kaen shopping center is opening the first Muji store in the Northeast.
On June 21, 2024, at 06:25, Muji opened its 36th store in Thailand, becoming the first in the northeastern region of the country. This store is located in the Central Khon Kaen shopping mall and covers an area of over 1,700 square meters. Central Khon Kaen, in collaboration with the Japanese brand Muji, is implementing a project to open the first store in this area. Natakit Tangpunsinthana, the chief marketing officer of Central Pattana (CPN), noted that Muji's main goal is to create a community center that meets the interests of the local population, which aligns perfectly with CPN's strategic approach to developing spaces, transforming them into places where people can feel comfortable, rather than just retail environments. The concept of Central Khon Kaen is designed to become a "Center of Life" for its residents. The interior design of the Muji store in this center maintains the principles of minimalism and simplicity.
The store offers a wide range of products tailored to various lifestyles, including over 5,000 items. The assortment includes:
