Toyota Crown Estate is reborn as Crown SUV for America, premiering Nov. 14.

Toyota has confirmed expectations and announced the imminent launch of its new model in the U.S. market. The new vehicle, known as the Crown Estate in Japan, will introduce itself to the U.S. market on November 14, just before the LA Auto Show, under the name "Crown SUV." The choice of name may seem unusual, especially considering that in Japan, Toyota's Crown lineup also includes a Sport SUV model. However, it can be explained by the American preference for SUVs and attitude towards station wagons and SUVs, even if it is just a name. The car is described as a "hybrid mid-size SUV with all-wheel drive" that will soon be available in the U.S. market.

The new crossover is a production version of the Crown Estate concept, which has been confirmed''Toyota Crown Estate versions of the Toyota Crown will remain largely unchanged from the prototype: it will be 4,930mm long, 1,880mm wide and 1,620mm high. This makes it slightly larger than the RAV4, but slightly smaller than the Highlander. Apart from the exterior, which follows Toyota's latest styling, we have also seen the almost finished interior. The cabin will have a five-seat layout with a folding rear seat to add practicality. The dashboard is expected to be very similar to the Toyota Crown Crossover, with two 12.3-inch digital displays and other components that will be used in other Toyota models.

Although an official on-sale date has not yet been confirmed, it is expected to happen in the first half of 2024. After the car becomes part of the model''row Toyota, this will be the second Crown-branded model available in the U.S. market. Japanese customers, meanwhile, have access to the entire model lineup, including the Crown Crossover, Crown Sport SUV, Crown Estate SUV and Crown Sedan.
