Tourism boosts demand for real estate in Greece | GTP Top News

At the Prodexpo real estate conference in Athens, market experts expressed the opinion that the strengthening of tourist activity in Greece is stimulating demand for real estate in the country, increasing prices and creating new market needs. The Greek real estate market on the islands is actively developing, with rental prices and residential property prices significantly rising in many areas. In particular, sales on Mykonos have reached 25 million euros, while on Santorini they have reached 8 million euros.
They added that the new requirements are changing the real estate market and attracting more institutional investors. According to a report by Engel & Völkers Greece, the real estate market in Greece is gradually recovering, especially in the prestigious area of the Athens Riviera. A partner at Livewise Greece also noted the impact of demographic changes on the country's housing market.
