Princess Minnie de Beauvie-Cron, owner of the Chateau du Arouet estate, aged 70, has died.

French aristocrat Princess Minnie de Beauvau-Creon has passed away at the age of 70. She was the mother of two children, Victoria, 37, and Sebastien-Marc, 36.

The princess, whose title was honorific, was the owner of the Chateau de Arouet in northeastern France. The 18th-century building has 82 rooms and was welcoming to famous visitors such as the Royal Mother and Hubert de Givenchy.

Minnie was born in November 1953 in the upscale Boulogne-Biancourt neighborhood of Paris and passed away on May 12, 2023 from an unknown illness. Her father, Marc, the last prince of Beauvau-Creon, died of a heart attack in 1982.

After her father died, Princess Minnie inherited a magnificent castle - which has 12 towers and its own moat - when''she was only 29 years old. Over the next 40 years, the aristocrat worked to turn the castle into a cultural destination. She organized fashion shows, art exhibitions and opera performances on her estate.

In 2010, Minnie organized a haute couture show at the chateau, which was organized by Hubert de Givenchy. Two years later, she was presented with an award from the Order of Arts and Letters for her contribution to the arts.

During the Royal Mother's visit to the estate in 1979, she reportedly brought her own entourage.

Minnie was married twice and had two children with her first husband and his partner, from whom they later separated. In 2021, Minnie talked about her work on the castle in a book published by her daughter. She''said: "The attachment I now feel for Arouet cannot be explained rationally; it transcends reason. It is not emotional; it cannot be measured. It is my life, my soul and my anchorage. This house is a part of me.".
