Roux Manor is a picturesque place in Greece, ideal for a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature.
Location
The Rou Estate Villas are located on the southeast slope of Mount Pandokrator, 1.14 miles (2 km) down a dirt road southwest of the village of Porta and about three miles (5 km) above the Kendrom Coastal Trail. The villas have views of Albania and at night you can enjoy the magnificent Milky Way. It is necessary to rent a car to get around on the island.
Style and characterDesigners Dominic Skinner and his wife Claire have restored these old stone farmhouses to their former glory. The four newly built villas are hard to distinguish from the restored originals, and the village's old well remains the centerpiece of the grounds. The villas are covered with various types of vegetation - plumbago, honeysuckle, wisteria, curly rose, lavender, pomegranate tree, while olive, cypress and silkwood trees provide vertical accents.
Services and Amenities
The staff at the front desk is always ready to help and available all day. Breakfast can be delivered right to your door for a small fee. The Wi-Fi signal on the island, like everywhere else, is unstable. There is a communal infinity pool on the lower boundary of the estate. Next door, a small salon offers a full list of massages, scrubs and wraps at competitive prices. There is also a large parking lot.
Bar, parking, swimming pool, restaurant, room service, spa services are all available to guests of the estate. Each of the 16 two- to five-bedroom villas has its own design and furnishings, as well as some features (e.g., three potato peelers, but no containers for storing leftovers). All villas, however, are equipped with TVs, fireplaces in the living room, mosquito nets, orthopedic mattresses, washing machines, dishwashers, stoves and refrigerators. Villa Lavandula sleeps six people and features beautiful limestone countertops, traditional wood furnishings and cozy upholstery.
