In this autumn season, it's worth trying wines from Cape Town, Puligny, Provence, and Bordeaux.

The following wines, made from eleven grape varieties in two hemispheres, have one common characteristic - they are produced in well-established wineries that have existed from ninety to nine hundred years.
Vin de Constance Winery
The Vin de Constance winery, founded in1685, is located in Cape Town, South Africa. The wine Vin de Constance was popular with the French queen Marie- Antoinette, Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, as well as with US Presidents George Washington and John Adams. It is also mentioned in the book "Sense and Sensibility" by English writer Jane Austen, published in1795.
The wine Vin de Constance is made from Muscat de Frontignan grapes and is grown on a sunny plot of land located east of Haut-Bey and five miles south of Table Mountain. It has explosive aromas of guava, mandarin, pineapple, and apricot, and its bright yellow color creates a sense of its own light. The wine has a rich, exotic taste that noticeably changes in the glass over time and temperature. We tried this wine with Dutch sommelier Marcel van Baalen at his famous restaurant L'Atelier in southern France. His description: "Golden magic."
Another wine Vin de Constance
Another wine Vin de Constance, produced in Cape Town, South Africa, has aromas of honey, peaches, white pears, baked apples, and mint leaves. The taste of the wine is a mix of Bartlett pears and fresh green apples, as well as dark oranges.
Wine Alice
** In Italy, in Puglia, there is the oldest winemaking cooperative, founded in1929. It produces Alice wine from Verdeca Salento grapes. The aromas of this wine include strawberry, lime, and honey. The taste of the wine resembles green apples, grapefruits, and gooseberries in the middle of the palate, as well as tangerines at the end. This light and refreshing wine pairs perfectly with fettuccine pasta and salmon.
Wine Lirica Primitivo di Manduria
Another Italian wine Lirica Primitivo di Manduria from the Produttori di Manduria winery is made from handpicked Primitivo grapes. The aromas of this wine include Bourbon chocolate cookies, Lapsang Souchong tea, milk balls, raisins, and tobacco. The taste of the wine is characterized by dark fruits, mocha, cola, velvety tannins, as well as cherry and cane sugar in the finish. This wine pairs well with beef dishes with tomatoes or black cherry dessert.
Wine Ottagono Nero di Troia
Torrevento from the Castel del Monte region in Italy produces the wine Ottagono Nero di Troia from Nero di Troia grapes. Aromas include red plums, prunes, violets, wood smoke, and orange zest.

Wine Romance Rosé
In France, in Provence, there is the Château de Berne castle, where the Romance Rosé wine is produced. This wine is made from Grenache, Cinsault, and Merlot grape varieties. The taste of the wine is characterized by tropical notes and some acidity. It pairs perfectly with goat cheese and spinach or with squid.
"Wine Inspiration Côtes de Provence"
Another wine from Château de Berne is the Inspiration Côtes de Provence. This wine is made from Grenache Noir, Cinsault, and Syrah grapes. Its aromas hint at strawberries and violets, while the taste is fresh and light with a balanced acidity and notes of mandarin and grapefruit. It pairs perfectly with salmon.
The text "Вино Pessac-Leognan" translates to "Pessac-Leognan Wine" in English. Pessac-Leognan is a wine appellation in Bordeaux, France.
In France, in Bordeaux, there is the Château Brown castle, where Pessac-Leognan wine is produced. This wine is made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grape varieties. The taste of the wine is characterized by complex aromas of honey, nuts, grapefruits, mandarins, and salt. It has minerality, due to the Semillon stirring process, and a taste resembling nuts and mint.
Another wine from Pessac-Léognan
Château Brown also offers Pessac-Leognan wine, which is produced from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties. In the aromas, notes of raspberry and caramel can be detected. The taste of the wine is rich and complex, with flavors of black fruits, strawberries, licorice, cane sugar, and spices. It has velvety and balanced tannins and a long finish.
