There's a mysterious new TV set being built at Blaze Castle.
This week a mysterious new structure surrounded by a fence has appeared on the grounds of Blaze Castle in Bristol. The blocked off area is between the castle and King's Weston Hillfort, to the right of the main parking lot. In the photo above, you can see an indeterminate brown tower with several gazebos surrounding it.
Bristol City Council has confirmed that this is in fact a movie set and the new facility will not be available for public access. When BristolLive asked for clarification on the new structure, a council spokesperson said: 'The Blaze Castle site is being used to create a set for the filming of the television project Bad Wolf, which is being filmed in and around Bristol.

Bad Wolf is the television company expected to produce the next season of Doctor Who, as well as other acclaimed shows such as Dark Beginnings, The Industry and I Hate Susie. Filming began in Bristol in June for the 60th anniversary episode of Doctor Who, in which fans will see the return of David Tennant, who played the tenth Doctor from 2005 to 2010.
Sections of the Old Town such as Broad Street, Corn Street, Clare Street and the area around St Stephen's Church have been transformed over the past few days. Bristol fans canceled their plans to watch the apocalyptic scene on the Bristol set with explosions, fires and car crashes. Particularly spotted were former partner''Tennant in the series, Catherine Tate, and Hollywood actor Neil Patrick Harris, who is expected to be cast as the villain.
