Vanguard Properties is the new official sponsor of Grandola Hockey.

Vanguard Properties, one of the largest real estate developers in Portugal, has become the official sponsor of the Patinagem de Grândola ice hockey club. This €30,000 sponsorship agreement will run until the 2023/2024 sporting season and will provide Grândola Hockey Club with additional resources to strengthen its position in national professional hockey. Despite being an amateur club, Grândola has been able to rise to the second level of national seniors hockey and is currently competing in the National Second Division - South Zone Championship.

This sponsorship, as the company notes, is part of the developer's development strategy "as a partner committed to the development and improvement of living conditions on the Alentejanu coast", particularly in the Grândola and Alcácer do Sal neighborhoods, where the Terras da Comporta and Muda projects are currently underway. "We are proud to be the official sponsor of Grândola Hockey and we will be honored to see our logo on their jerseys," said José Cardoso Botel, CEO of Vanguard Properties. He also added that this sponsorship "will further strengthen our bond with Grândola and we are ready to help the club return to the pinnacle of national hockey."

For Vanguard Properties, supporting sports is in line with the goal of combating the seasonality of the region by investing in local sports infrastructures that can attract more people to Grândola and Alcácer do Sal throughout the year and therefore contribute to their economic and social development. In addition, Vanguard Properties has already announced the construction of affordable housing for future employees of its projects, as well as the construction of cultural facilities, a school in partnership with Brave Generation Academy and a one-stop medical center in partnership with CUF.
