Video TikTok warning: Condo owners renting out their property to influencers, be cautious

Photo courtesy of KhaoSod. A viral video on TikTok, posted by one of the users, served as a warning for owners of luxury apartments who are considering renting their units to TikTok influencers.

In the video, the user talks about an incident involving an influential TikTok user with half a million followers who had previously appeared on a popular show. She rented a luxury apartment in the Rama 9 area for two months, left without warning, and did not pay the electricity bills amounting to nearly 5,000 baht, as well as the rent. This video on TikTok has been viewed over 6.5 million times and has attracted numerous comments.

After the video went viral, the channel owner, a realtor, provided additional details. He explained that he couldn't share more information about the person involved, as the apartment owner didn't want any trouble and had already settled the matter. However, he felt the need to warn others that a good profile doesn't guarantee that everything will go smoothly.

As a result of a viral video, social media users widely shared their guesses about the identity of an influential user. Many names were thrown around, with most pointing to Satang Bank, a wonderful transgender TikTok influencer. However, both the TikTok influencer and the channel owner have confirmed with 100% certainty that she is not the person involved, reports Khaosod.

In related news, earlier this month, the body of a local Thai woman was found in her apartment in Pattaya. It is believed that the cause of death was suicide.
