Howard Hughes' Palm Springs property is up for sale.

The Palm Springs home owned by eccentric billionaire aviator Howard Hughes is up for sale. Built in 1957, the evocative mid-century style three-bedroom home is being sold by Leonardo Montenegro of Leonardo Group at HOM Sotheby'\''s for $1.2 million.

Montenegro tells T&C that Hughes owned the house until his death in 1976, and it was the first property sold from his inheritance (the current family purchased it in 1977). However, Hughes is not the only famous person associated with the property. Producer Paul Case and actress Eva Gabor (Zsazsa's sister, whose own Palm Springs home was recently put up for sale) have also been its owners over the years, and others' 'windows.
