On Friday, a federal appeals court in Miami will hear arguments in a lawsuit challenging Florida's alien land law that bans Chinese citizens from buying property in the state and has been criticized as discriminatory. Attorneys representing the Chinese plaintiffs will argue that this law is unconstitutional and will ask the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to block the law "more broadly," after the court initially halted its enforcement against two separate plaintiffs, according to...to the American Civil Liberties Union.
