The wicked Duchess of Sussex: is she filming her show on a cannabis farm?

I thought I knew quite a bit about marijuana, but I didn't realize that cannabis farms smell bad and that the plants and farms are causing concern in California because of their odor. I thought the Daily Mail was just overreacting, but I googled it and it's true - cannabis farms are polluting rural areas and neighborhoods everywhere, especially in California (where marijuana is legal). Well, the gist of this story is to link the smell of cannabis to the Duchess of Sussex. The Daily Mail is still very concerned that Meghan isn't filming her cooking show on Netflix at her own estate, and they are upset that the crew rented two properties in the Santa Barbara area, one of which might be a cannabis farm.

Meghan Markle will undoubtedly exude a glossy image of polished elegance in front of the camera as she films her long-awaited cooking show for Netflix. However, the Duchess of Sussex, accompanied by a 50-person crew, may be surprised not only by the aroma of freshly baked treats as she showcases her culinary skills.

This is because one of the two filming locations chosen for Meghan's show is a 14-acre hemp farm. As recently reported by DailyMail.com, production is already in full swing.

Meghan, 42, has so far avoided shooting at her family's expansive $14 million estate in Montecito, despite having a professional chef's kitchen, and instead borrowed a smaller but still imposing 4,500-square-foot home just two miles away for her first location shoot.

The owners of the $5 million home are philanthropists Tom and Sherri Chipolla. However, the farm chosen as the second filming location is shrouded in scandal, as its owners have angered neighbors with their very aromatic crop. The Van Wingerden family found themselves on one side of what has been called the "cannabis war," which has infuriated wealthy residents, schools, and local businesses in the coastal town of Carpinteria, California.
