Luxury 4 bedroom villa in Cannes, French Riviera

The extraordinary Villa Belle Epoche, built in 1875, is located in Cannes, a few steps from the Croisette, 10 minutes from the center of Cannes and 15 minutes from Cap d'\'Antibes. The historic site was a side extension designed to host the reception of the Villa Madrid, which belonged to the Mayor of Cannes, Mr. André Capron, from 1895 to 1929. This wing of the building, now called Villa Granada, was built in 1882 and includes an impressive grand ballroom with ceilings almost 6 meters high, decorated with antique frescoes. Many historical figures such as Edward VII, Prince of Wales, Alfonso XIII, King of Spain, Queen Amelie and King Manoel of Portugal, Kings of Sweden and Norway, Italian princes and counts, as well as Russian Grand Dukes have stayed at this honorable estate. The villa sits on a 1600 square meter south-facing plot and was recently renovated by the current owners, who commissioned renowned Dutch decorators to restore the fairytale estate to its former glory. The house consists of an entrance hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, mezzanine, library and 4 en-suite bedrooms. Outside there is a landscaped garden with swimming pool, Jacuzzi, summer kitchen and pool house.
