Finding honest and reliable workers became a real challenge, and in the end, we partially had to do the work ourselves.

When it comes to public safety in the country, the widely held opinions that there is a high level of danger in Turkey need to be reconsidered. Of course, in large cities, there is always a risk of encountering pickpockets or other offenders, especially at night. Personally, my sister and I witnessed a tragic incident – a murder, which shocked me. Nevertheless, I feel that such events can happen in any country in the world. Overall, I feel relatively safe; nighttime walks around the city are perfectly fine, as it is almost always lively – shops and markets operate around the clock. Moreover, you can often see police officers on the streets who are genuinely engaged in maintaining order.

Cost of living in Istanbul

When it comes to life in Istanbul, it's quite enough for a comfortable existence here.1700 dollarsper month. In medical universities, there is no way to obtain a diploma without the necessary knowledge or to pay for exams. If a student fails even one exam, they will have to retake all previous ones, which ensures a high level of training for doctors. Moreover, the cost of medical services here is comparable to prices in St. Petersburg, and sometimes even lower.
