Kizilot is a tiny tourist town located in the very south of the Republic of Turkey. It occupies part of the coast of Antalya. In large tourist guides it is indicated as a satellite of the famous Side. From it to Kizilot is only 16 kilometers. The town from time immemorial does not feel the lack of resort residents. People go there in search of a measured and cheap vacation. Rates there are indeed lower than in other cities of the Turkish Riviera. But in terms of service it is not inferior to them. Mostly it is kept within +12 - 15°C. The tourist season in Kizilot begins extremely early. Already at the end of March, the temperature of water in the sea reaches +19°C. And near the end of spring the sea heats up to +23°C. However, the apogee of resort intensity falls on June-August.
A brief history of Kizilot.
Kizilot, like many of today's Turkish resorts, was once a fishing town. There are concepts that the ancestors of the first settlement on these lands were inhabitants of Crete.
