Tekirova is a paradise on Turkey's Antalya coast.
Tekirova belongs to the province of Antalya. The town itself is located near the highway between the suburbs of Antalya and Kumluca. Tekirova has no curiosities of its own. But in its vicinity you can find an abundance of interesting places to see. First of all, you should look at the ruins of the ancient town of Phaselis. There is a surviving aqueduct, Roman thermae, temples of Hermes. Not far from Phaselis is another ancient Greek town Olimpos. This town is famous for its large amphitheater and fragments of the city walls. It is also part of the local national park Olimpos. There are many other landscape and natural wonders in the area. One of them is Mount Tahtali. It is the highest mountain in the area. Its height is 2365 meters.
In close proximity to Tekirova is Yoruk Parki. It is also called "Ethnographic Open Air Museum". Nearby are the canyon of Goynuk, Beldibi Cave and Cirali Bay.
Are there any beaches in Tekirova?
