We spoke to Lyn Gold, a winemaker and wine producer who together with Murat OBENLERK opened Etelia Winery in 2017 in the Ilgaz region of Northern Cyprus, an important part of Cyprus' overall cultural heritage and winemaking culture that goes back 4 millennia.

We discussed the fascinating story of Ethel Winodelnikou, who has achieved international recognition. From growing grapes, to making wine, to marketing and tourism advertising, Lyn Gold tells us about the arduous journey they have traveled in Ethel Winemaker.

From the Bronze Age to the present day, wine has been the subject of legends, myths, books, poems and research, and Ethel Winodelnik pioneered the culture in North Cyprus.
