The Quelle Surprise promotion that took place this past March at Provence Marinaside Restaurant in Yaletown will be relaunched. Guests can now enjoy a special three-course menu priced at $59, offering classic French cuisine not normally found on Provence's regular menu. Chef Quaglia and his team will offer a variety of French bistro dishes throughout the month, but the quantity of each dish will be limited. One day it might be Roasted Brain Sauce (Os à Moelle) and Duck Confit (Canard Confit), and the next day it might be Soupe aux Oignons and Goose Beef Provençal (Daube de Boeuf). Each table will have an informant waiter who will tell guests about the surprise of the day. When all the dishes for the day are finished, their''Will no longer be available. For more information, visit the restaurant's official website.

Township 7 received a gold medal for its Seven Stars Rigel 2020 wine. Seven Stars Rigel, named after the seventh brightest and one of the youngest stars in the sky, is made from 100% Riesling grown on the sustainable Fool'\''s Gold crop in North Oliver, a vineyard owned by Mark Antonello. The vineyard was planted by his father-in-law Richard Cleave, a well-known Okanagan'''s vintner, more than twenty years ago. You can purchase the Rigel 2021 wine ($36.97) at Township7.com.

A Quelle Surprise promotion invites restaurant guests to try a variety of French cuisine on a special menu. A limited number of dishes are available each day, and the selection of dishes itself varies. Waiters inform guests of the surprise of the day, and once all the dishes of that set are finished, there will be no more. The regular lunch and dinner menus will be offered as well. For more information, visit the restaurant's official website.
