Freddie Mercury Auction: Wealthy people are crazy about him.

At the auction of Freddie Mercury's estate held in London, Sotheby's impressive items sold for much more than expected.

The silver bracelet that Freddie wore in the "Bohemian Rhapsody" music video was sold for $881,717, setting a record for rock music star jewelry.

The piano on which Mercury wrote the legendary song "Bohemian Rhapsody" was sold at auction for $2,198,927.

Brazilian businessman Rafael Reisman, who purchased Freddie's crown and royal cloak for $801,560, told reporters that he was willing to pay even more for this iconic item. He also acquired four additional lots for a total of around £1 million. His company, Blast Entertainment, specializes in creating museum exhibitions, similar to what Sotheby's organized for this auction. He plans to create his own exhibition about Queen, which will be "exciting and interactive."

Many other lots raised questions: where will the brooches, bowls, and beautiful boxes go? Will they be given to Freddie's ex-lovers?

To a competitor? To a pharmaceutical billionaire who has watched "Bohemian Rhapsody" so many times that he forgot Freddie was gay?

The auction turned out to be a disappointment for Queen fans who came from all over the world to participate in the event. Many of them were astonished by the prices of the lots, but still left satisfied with the wonderful memories and the opportunity to see special items that belonged to their beloved musician.

Each sold item could easily become the basis for purchasing a house in the USA. The manuscript of the song "Killer Queen" was sold for $352,687, while "Somebody to Love" went for $304,593.

The famous crown and cloak of Freddy were also sold for $801,560.

It only remains to imagine what our world will look like now that the creator of Blast Entertainment is preparing an impressive exhibition about Queen. Who knows, perhaps soon we will see the emergence of many intriguing and interactive events in different countries dedicated to Freddie Mercury and his work.
