Homeless man turns £10.5m mansion into his own home
Paragraphs:
After being left stowaway by the owners of an obscenely luxurious estate, a homeless man found refuge in it, surrounded by luxury cars.
The ten-room property consists of four buildings, but the doors to them opened in 2016 when the owner couldn't keep up with the $60,000-a-month mortgage payments.
But before they left, they moved some of their belongings, including an undelivered $12,000 shoe collection including Nike Air Max, Chanel and Christian Louboutin.
They also left rare cars, including a Mercedes Benz and a Volkswagen Bug, parked on the estate.
The mansion spans 27,000 square feet.
This estate was built by a local surgeon who and his family moved there while it was still under construction.
At least one of the bedrooms still contains a bed, chair and crystal chandelier.

Jeremy's urban explorer
Jeremy set out to explore an abandoned estate in North East America after hearing rumors about it. He recorded the location in the icy cold for 11 hours - and scared a homeless resident during his visit. Jeremy said: "I found this place while searching on Google Maps. The mystery of this estate lies in the vast amount of valuables left inside, including luxury cars, exquisite furniture, expensive designer clothes and more. "I remember there was so much echo in the house that the sounds of my footsteps traveled down the hallways as if I were in a temple. The smell in each room was different. "Some had a strong odor of perfume and soap, while others were damp and even smelled of dead rodents. "The lighting inside the white marble house reflected evenly on all surfaces and created a nice glow in every room. "When I arrived, I quickly discovered that I was not alone on the estate. I heard the homeless man on the second floor move after I apparently woke him up by closing the front door. "I was hiding from a certain vantage point and waiting for him to finally leave through the back window. I then began my research and wrote down my experiences.

Jeremy on the family who bought the estate
Jeremy says his joy at researching the estate turned to "sadness" when he learned the fate of the family who bought and turned the place into the hope of a loving family home. He added: "The man who built this estate was very successful. He graduated from one of the top medical schools in the country, became a surgeon, a father of four, and even a recreational pilot. "After building a thriving empire with nine medical offices, in 2006 he decided to build a dreamy estate for his family. "He was far from being an ostentatious personality, but considerable expense was needed in designing this luxurious villa. Of three floors, not counting the full basement, the white marble estate has eleven bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms, a guest apartment, indoor pool, outdoor sports complex, four-car garage, mahogany library and elevator. "But as the research continued, my joy turned to a sense of sadness and reverence for the family who lived there and watched their dreams shattered, along with the plane that took the lives of their father and his son. "I feel as if I were walking on a monument to the life and love that once resided there, but had to leave under the most tragic circumstances. "The strangest things I found inside weren't luxury cars, luxury furniture, or even flat-screen TVs. "I thought it was odd that small items like designer clothes with labels on them, Dior shoes in the closet or expensive jewelry and cosmetics in the bathroom were left inside. "It's not clear to me why these items were left behind, they could have easily been packed up and taken out of the house when the family left. "
