British foreign millionaire murdered outside his home in France

Property owner and wife Gaye Daniels moved full-time to France three years ago. David joined the local civic association, attended a meeting to increase tourist visits and was enthusiastic about creating a "postcard" from his window. However, while Daniels longed for a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and the farm of Moreau's farm, Moreau was not supportive of his efforts to improve the view. The farm where Moreau lived for 51 years was a mess of old tractor tires and cattle feed.

The moment of the attack may have been captured by surveillance cameras because a video camera was installed outside the house. After a court hearing, the judge charged Moreau with murder with premeditation and was remanded in custody while his son was released. Daniels was known as a car racing enthusiast and participated in the Circuit des Remparts retro race in Angoulême every year. He was taking part in a race at Poe on his way home when tragedy struck.
