Be vigilant before a group to rent: the same apartment on offer in Belgrade and Zagreb, people succumb to deception all the time.

The ad in a real estate rental group in Belgrade says, "A deposit is required as security that the apartment will be rented out, as there is allegedly an interested tenant." "We're renting an apartment on Vrachar, the furniture is almost new. Entry immediately," reads the beginning of the ad.

It would probably be fine, if not for the fact that the same apartment is also rented in the Zagreb group. One Z.P. posted an ad in a Belgrade group that "he works with his wife in France and rents an apartment for a long term." The rent is 420 euros and asks only serious tenants to respond. The ad in the Croatian group is more detailed and the price is the same.

The apartment is quality furnished and fully equipped, with new windows and triple glazing, Mitsubishi air conditioning, Samsung Smart TVs, Italian ceramics and a towel heater in the bathroom.

Interestingly, both authors have disabled the ability to comment on the ads. A member of the Belgrade group pointed out the potential scam and warned others to be careful. Although at first it seems that this type of scam is almost impossible, we can conclude from the comments that people are increasingly falling for such ads. - You wouldn't believe how many people transfer money so easily..... This is where experiences are shared. Unbelievable...; - They usually require a deposit as security that the apartment will be rented out, since supposedly there is an interested tenant who wants you to rent.
