CB Commercial sells Six Senses in Rome in a deal with Real Estate Monitor
Coldwell Banker Commercial acted as advisor on the purchase of the prestigious five-star Six Senses Hotel inRome, which opened in March this year in the Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini building in Piazza San Marcello.
The property, acquired in 2018 for 95 million euros by Orion European Real Estate Fund V (Orion Capital Managers), has been renovated by general contractor CDS Holding.
The hotel was sold to the Statuto Group for an amount of 245 million euros. The hotel has 95 rooms and suites managed by the Six Senses brand, part of the IHG Hotel & R group
Leonardo Stassi, head of hospitality at CB Commercial, said: 'Six Senses brings new perspectives on how willing certain types of buyers are to invest. This sale is added to the list of successful transactions made by CB Commercial.

The total investment in Italy's hotel sector with this deal is around €1.1-1.2 billion, indicating a projected closing of the year at 2022 values (€1.4 billion).
