The price of older apartments in Marseille rose by 6% on average over the year to reach a median value of €3,160 per square meter. This is a marked but limited increase compared to neighboring cities such as Nice (+9.9% to €4,760), Nîmes (+10.4% to €2,210) or southern Corsica (+12.2% to €3,960). The last three cities are the leaders in terms of the largest increase in value in the whole country. Paris tops the ranking with 10130 euros per square meter (down 4.4%), followed by Lyon (4920 euros per square meter, down 3.2%) and Nice (4760 euros per square meter). The national trend of a weakening real estate market is evident with a 0.2% decrease in the province and a 1% decrease in the whole country for old apartments.

The same applies to old houses''with a decrease of 0.5% in the province and 0.6% in France.

Another interesting piece of information provided by the French Notaires are the median sale prices of old houses. We can note a slight increase in Aix-Marseille to an average of 398,500 euros. Only Montpellier (405,100 euros), Lyon (430,500 euros), Toulon (475,300 euros) and South Corsica (484,000 euros) have higher values. It is worth noting the 1.9% decrease in the median price in the Ile-de-France region.
